Common questions

What is a fractional CISO?

A fractional CISO is an experienced Chief Information Security Officer who leads your security program part-time or for a defined period. You get executive-level security leadership without the cost of a full-time hire.

Do you replace our IT team or managed service provider?

No. We work with your existing IT staff or provider. We set direction, define requirements and oversee security outcomes; your team or provider keeps running day-to-day IT. If you do not have a provider, we can cover managed IT as well.

Which frameworks do you work with?

Assessments and control assurance are aligned with recognized frameworks such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 and ISO/IEC 27001. For healthcare organizations, we also address relevant HIPAA Security Rule requirements for ePHI.

Can you help with security for AI and automation projects?

Yes. Assessing risk in AI, automation and connected devices is part of the security architecture work, and it pairs naturally with Abrisuite's automation and custom AI services.
